A Death of Superman themed set comes with Fire, Ice, Bloodwynd (yes, Bloodwynd!!!!) and Doomsday, as well as a battle damaged Superman and a Guy Gardner with his costume he wore during the Death of Superman era.
Here's a look at Ice:
And Bloodwynd (the cape appears to be from Psycho Pirate - not sure if this is a final product look or an early solicit. Either way he is SWEET:)

The OMAC Attack set comes with a re-decoed Superman and re-decoed Wonder Woman, two previously released OMAC figures, and an all new Booster Gold and all new Maxwell Lord.

Wonder Woman appears to have been painted gold in place of the previous yellow.

Superman's "S" and possibly his colors seem different.

The two OMAC look the same.

The all new Maxwell Lord figure.

And finally the all new Booster Gold figure.
These sets aren't available yet, but the pictures say "Fall '09" and have been placed up at the Walmart website, so they should be available any day now. I know I need the Death of Superman set for my birthday in November - hint hint!P.S. I hate exclusive sets, and I hate Walmart exclusive sets even more! Fortunately the rabid fan base is too choked up on DCUC to bother too much with my beloved DCIH sets, so hopefully I will be able to get the Doomsday set. Also, if they appear online that's a plus!
Doomday look good tho....
ReplyDeleteDespite my desire to team build the JLI in various lines, I think my dislike of exclusive sets where I only want 1 or 2 figures and my dislike of Infinite Heroes articulation in general are going to make me pass.
ReplyDeleteKind of neat to see a BloodWynd figure and Maxwell Lord looks pretty good.
ReplyDeletewow. Booster looks awesome. Thanks for the news. The WW fig looks like a combo of the original WW and the Wonder Woman DCU animated figure that was packaged with the DVD/bluray.
ReplyDeleteWARNING! I have had 3 figures from the Public Enemies sets with fused knee and/or elbow joints that snap when you try to bend them, including Major Force (knee), Captain Atom (knees) and Batman (knees and elbows). KEEP YOUR RECIEPT! Call Mattel for a refund, they will want you to fax the reciept. THEY DO NOT HAVE REPLACEMENT FIGURES FOR MAJOR FORCE!!!
