This twin set of Allosauruses (Allosaurusi?) are both based on an
original Marx design, but each is a little bit different. The larger brown Allosaur was made by MPC. The smaller guy looks more like the original Marx design but is smaller, and I do not know who made him.

The original Marx Allosaur was made via a three piece mold, and the smaller Allosaurus here shares that design. The MPC design was based on the original Marx Allosaur, but used a two piece mold so was altered slightly to accommodate.

Like the original Marx design, the MPC Alliosaurus has markings indicating his breed and his size: ("Allosaurus" on his tail, left side and "30' Long" on his right.) He also has a "20" on his left leg. The smaller guy has only "Made in Hong Kong" on his tail right side.

The MPC Allosaurus has some excess plastic at the mold injection sites and seams.

The little grey dude is a bit "cleaner," but both have tons of
cheap plastic dinosaur charm.

First time I see such strong Dino arms. Normal the forearms are shinny and small. Great standing pose too. Ancestor of Kangaroo I guess. LOL
Neat little Dino you got there where did you pick him up at? Just being curious.
LEon - they are very kangarooish, aren't they :)
jboy - I got the grey guy over a year ago at a garage sale, along with a bunch of misc. dinos, the brown guy I just picked up at the swap meet. You never know what you'll find when you shuffle through boxes of random toys!
Ok cool Bubba and yeah thanks to you i find myself looking more closely to boxes of loose toys at the thrift shops now just in case there is something good in them have not found anything yet but i will someday lol.
