Strongheart...go towards the light!

Toyriffic readers will surely recall my recent victory over Reis of Geek Orthodox, which led to my ownership of the famed Blue Snaggletooth. (Thanks again to Darius of Adventures in Nerdliness!)

Around the same time, I also won a Strongheart action figure in an art contest Reis was holding.

I'm all win.

Unfortunately, Reis is a sore loser,* and he sent his 8-bit goon squad after poor Strongheart, the only real innocent victim in this entire 3 3/4" debacle!

Strongheart arrived at his new home today, and he's in bad shape. Thankfully Toyriffic Central has an excellent health care system (existing as it does on the peripheral of reality) and the good Nurse Ratched immediately took appropriate action!

"It's okay, you're safe. Rest...you're with family now."

"It's all dark...I can't see anything...where am I?...are you an angel?"

"Let me show you. Oh, and you have a visitor."

"Be still, my son."

"Jesus...is that you?"

*actually Reis is an Epic Winner for playing along and raising this comedy to new levels :D

  1. I should add that Reis sent Strongheart wrapped in those "blood" stained bandages!

  2. Hahahaha! This is jam-packed with EPIC WIN!

I'm glad to see that his stitches held together during the trip. I guess takin' a butt-whoopin' from Sark and the gang is a small price to pay to get to live with Blue Snags. ;)

I love the "halo" shot! Hahaha!

  3. That rocks.

Nice to see the Adventure People getting some play. I bought that set for my nephew on eBay, though he and his brother are a bit young for it.

    Word Verification: dammit

    Quite appropriate.

  4. Is there a little bit of romance blooming between Strongheart and Nurse Ratchet?

  5. Seriously, I'm thinking about starting a band and calling it "8 Bit Goon Squad".

  6. As long as I get my royalties, Reis, then by all means, do it!
