Of course they don't officially call this gal Catwoman (Playmobil doesn't give official names to most of their figures anyways) but we're not blind and or stupid.

Well, apparently Playmobil's lawyers had to draw the line somewhere.
Regardless, it's about time Playmobil started getting into the superhero game, even if it's not official. I'd love to see more masks from them in the future.
According to their Facebook page, Playmobil Fi?ures Series 9 is expected in stores this month. That must be for the non US overseas market however, because I don't think we've even seen series 8 in the US yet.
I'm looking forward to her! I love the mask, even though it's so limited in use.
ReplyDeleteFor whatever reason, the US catalog got the dates horrendously wrong. My guess is that Series 8 comes out in July for the export markets, and S9 comes out in December (since there's an ice princess in it). For Europe, S8 was released in March, and S9 is in July.
That sounds about right based on past US releases.

DeleteI just found 8 at TRU yesterday and was sad when I Googled Series 8 codes and nothing turned up.
ReplyDeletePlaymobil has never had a discernible code on their packaging.
DeleteI did notice some numbers on the back of this series that were different on the few bags I looked at. Don't know what they mean, if anything.
