Imaginext Series 6 Blind Bag Figures Available NOW! :: NOW WITH CODES!

Out of the clear blue nowhere a gentleman over at the Imaginext Generation Facebook page just found Imaginext Series 6 blind bags at a Fred Meyer in Burien Washington! EDIT: And another member has confirmed all the codes:

Godzilla 00
Amelia Earhart 02
Gnome 04
Alien 05
Chicken Suit Guy 06
Jester 99

Series 6 only includes six figures, and they're an interesting mix. A guy in a chicken suit, Amelia Earhart, a lawn gnome warrior (huh?), a scary-ass jester, a guy in a Godzilla/Mechagodzilla suit, and a four-armed alien.

I have to admit this is a weird line-up, but the jester and Godzilla are must-haves for me. Amelia Earhart is pretty awesome too, to be totally honest.

I can't help but wonder why Fisher-Price only released six in this wave. Are they rushing them out the door as fast as they can to keep up with demand? Or are they running out of steam and or creativity (this wave does seem far less inspired than past waves.) If I had to guess, I'd say they are making smaller waves so they can release more waves closer together to meet demand. Series 1 had ten figures, so they've been dwindling them since day one, adjusting wave counts for whatever reason they see fit. I don't know, but I'll surely be on the lookout for these now!

  1. It doesn't seem like the monster wave was out that long, my Walmart only just got them in about a 2 weeks ago. 3 figures in this wave going on my to find list.

    1. My Target just put out a fresh batch of Series 4!

  2. Neato! That 4-armed alien looks nice, must have!

    1. I have to admit the novelty alone of a four-armed alien makes him pretty cool, and I will probably nab him when I find these!

    2. He's a pretty cool figure, I grabbed 4 of them to use as troopers for my Ion Aliens Space figures. Just to note: the smaller, second pair of arms do not turn at the wrist, they just have lines to make it look like they do.

  3. Oh, that jester is a total must-have. So disturbingly awesome! I like the four-armed dude, too, but S4 is still everywhere, and S5 is still only at Walmart.

    1. Pretty sure S5 is going to prove to be a Walmart exclusive.

  4. When S6 hits Wal-Mart, S5 will come to Target. That has been the pattern in the past. S4 will come to Family Dollar if it hasn't already. Last week I was at a FD that had a fresh box of S3.

    1. We'll see. My observations may not be perfect, but it seems to me no one series has lingered at one single retailer this long as yet. But a lot of factors are at play for sure from distribution to the new speed of release for these things!

    2. I had not thought to check Family Dollars yet, but did so last night & they had a few baggies of Series 4 so I was able to grab the Boxer, BB Player, Snowboarder & Clown I needed. Alas, no robots which was a shame as I was hoping to build up a little squad of at least 4 of them.

I also only saw Series 5 at Wal-Mart a while ago, have to hopefully see them again and get a Battle Queen & a Genie.

  5. The chicken suit guy looks like Gus from Breaking Bad which goes with the other figure from a previous blind bag line which looked like Walter White.

    1. I'd still love to have been in the approval meeting where the Imaginext team had to sell to their bosses why they had to spend thousands of dollars to tool a mold for a Fried Chicken employee with Chicken Suit. That one has to be, by far, the most random Imaginext blind bag figure they've made to date. The Gnome I thought was peculiar as it's just a guy in a gnome costume (maybe he's like Ant-Man and can shrink to gnome hieght while wearing the mask??) and not an actual gnome figure, but a KFC employee is just really bizarre to me. I imagine that he is a mutant KFC employee with frying heat powers and wears the chicken costume as his super hero uniform. :-D

    2. I agree, he's such an odd choice. Not only that, assuming he is inspired by Breaking Bad, he's an odd AND inappropriate choice! So weird. I wish I could sit in on those meetings!

  6. How does one figure out the codes to find out what is in the blind bags?

    1. If you look at the back, you will see a pair of numbers embossed along the edge somewhere (can't remember exactly where at this time.) You have to look closely and carefully because they are embossed and not printed, so they can prove hard to find/see at times.
