Feelin' Krangy

Tony from 'I'm Not a Kid Anymore' sent me his giant Android Body Krang - all the way from Australia!

I first discovered this version of Krang existed in action figure form when I found the 'standard' sized fellow at the flea market. Internet research led me to discover he had a massive counterpart. Years later Tony posted a picture of his massive Krang (get your minds out of the gutter) and I begged him for it and here we are! Now I have two! (Actually, I have three, this standard Krang was sent to me by Jboy of 'Revenge From the Cosmic Ark' a while back, and is in nicer shape than the one I found two years ago at the flea market. Funny how you can go from not knowing a toy exists to being buried in them in so short a time!)

Giant Sized Krang Thing here is in great shape, and is so incredibly nifty. He does have some play wear, as Tony liked to play with his toys (didn't we all?), and his antenna is missing, but otherwise he's perfect and I am glad to have him around Toyriffic HQ. He's just so ridiculous looking and awesome.

I have always loved the 'larger than life' character/figure additions to 'normal' sized figure themes, so having this big lug to go toe to toe with my TMNT is the definition of good times.

'I will hug him and squeeze him and call him Usagi.'

Of course just like with his mini-me version, the brain/blob Krang is removable from the android torso. As far as I know this larger Krang is the same figure as was released with his walking chair, which is the most common Krang figure around.

Android Body Krang is one of the all-time wackiest character designs ever and I just can't get enough of him in plastic form!

Thanks again to Tony (and Jboy too!)

    1. I imagine it's a common affliction, which is why I don't mind it. I am looking out for the perfect 'fix' though - I'll figure something out eventually!

  2. This has to be one of my favorite toys of all time. It was one of the first "Toys I had but Sold at Garage Sales and then Bought Back on eBay Years Later." I'd love to find one with the box, the art on that box is crazy.

    1. He's tops in both sizes! I'm considering giving my extra small one away in a contest, but I need to track him down first!
