Catwoman Purrrsday :: Anne sez 'Get over yourselves, Fanboys!'
Well, actually she didn't say that. But she did take MTV to task for yawning over her debut Catwoman image and reminded them and us that we have seen a mere fraction of The Dark Knight Rises' Catwoman.
Then she said fanboys will be using Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman posters to wipe up their drool when they see her in the full movie. She didn't really say that either.
But she's right about the fact that we ain't seen nuthin' yet: let's do the math, shall we?
Imax camera smashing stunt cycle rides notwithstanding, we've seen all of one picture of Anne as Catwoman. One. Uno. Singular. The loneliest number that you'll ever do.
Now considering the fact that your average film frame rate is what, about 24 frames per second? (Imax is much more) and that the last Batman movie was about six hours long...let's see, carry the one...that puts The Dark Knight Rises frame count at about seventy bazillion.* Meaning that the one image we have all seen is only one seventy bazillionth of the entire film!* And completely lacking in context, I might add.
So like Miss Hathaway, I suggest we all take a deep breath and calm down. Have a little faith, people!
*all math is approximate.

Word. Remember how everyone was complaining about the first official image of Heath Ledger as the Joker? I'm totally willing to give Christopher Nolan the benefit of the doubt that it'll turn out great in the final film.
