Another recent Flea Market find is Doctor El of the early nineties Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toyline by Playmates.
I love all the detail packed into these TMNT toys. The character design was always off the hook. Doctor El is packed with insane little nuances, including a freakin' arrow through his knee complete with (unpainted) blood gushing forth!
Doctor El is a Witch Doctor African Elephant and friend to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I found him sans accessories and he looks fine without them, but this is one figure that would be fun to have complete with his nunchucks, spear, shield and voodoo mask!
Jealous! I have not found this one yet for my collection and he looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteyeah I've wanted this guy for a while now. I may try to track down his accessories some time too, but for now he's pretty awesome even without them!
