Imaginext Witch :: Blind Bag Series 4

The final Imaginext Blind Bag Series 4 'must-have' for me was The Witch.

Joining the cadre of classic monsters already released: Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, Mummy, Creature from the Black Lagoon and Series 5's Werewolf, The Witch is a very welcome female addition to Imaginext's Horror ranks.

Along with the snowboarder, Witchypoo is one of only two female characters in Series 4.

The Witch has two 'forms' thanks to her headpiece. Creepy old hag and cute young Wiccan. She comes with a beautifully sculpted broom, and the headpiece sets well on her and gives the impression of a completely different action figure. It doesn't just come across as a lump of plastic on her head as I had initially feared.

The Witch is coded with the number 72, but she's also very easy to find via the squeeze method. Just feel for the disc shaped brim of her hag's hat.

Imaginext Series 4 Killer Clown

 I know I know, the title is redundant. All clowns are killers!

The second of my 'must-haves' from Imaginext Blind Bag Seris 4 is the Clown. There's an obvious 'Pennywise' influence here, not to mention that this guy makes the perfect Joker or Harley Quinn goon. He comes with a balloon animal accessory but I immediately gave that to Harley and gave this guy a LEGO knife to wield.

The Clown, like Space Ape, also makes a great army builder figure. Bonus: with his hair/chestpiece he looks different enough to make it appear you have two types of clowns in your killer clown army.

The clown is code number 80. Confirm by squeezing for his balloon animal accessory and his bald head.

Imaginext Space Ape :: Blind Bag Series 4

On an out-of-town trip I was finally able to find a box of Imaginext Blind Bag Series 4. I picked up three 'must-haves' from the wave, including the figure that is generally referred to as 'Space Ape'.

Dig that banana-gun!

I love the general sci-fi-ness of this guy. Obvious influences being history itself (and the use of chimps for space flight experiments) as well as Planet of the Apes, while possible less obvious influences could have been the movie 2001 and even Robot Monster.

This guy is a great figure individually, and also makes the perfect 'army builder' for any number of current Imaginext themes.

The Space Ape code on the Series 4 blind bags is 77. But as always I recommend you confirm your figure via the 'squeeze method.' Space Ape is really easy to 'feel' as he has that massive dome of a helmet. You can also feel for the conical shape of the banana gun.
