Having used the head of a DeCool Bootleg LEGO Spider-Man to make a custom Scarlet Spider, I decided to put together an unmasked Spider-Man with the body and a spare head and hair piece from my vast stores of LEGO pieces.
Very Dr. Frankenstein of me!
Lego blocks are truly a customizers dream come true! This looks more like a new age Peter Parker with Beiber fever!
ReplyDeleteIt's true - and yet his hair is still better than Andrew Garfield's ;)
DeleteLooks awesome Eric! You got the Lego building skills for sure buddy.
ReplyDeleteThanks John!
DeleteThat's the beauty of LEGO, so easy to customize. Speaking of customizing, LEGO Minifigure Series 12 is hitting stores! Lots of great parts for more Frankensteinesque creations. :D
ReplyDeleteI just thought of an awesome custom minifigure idea, Man Spider! You could use parts from the Chima Spider Tribe! Plus there are now Chima Elephant Tribe, you could make Doctor El!
I found series 12 yesterday - look for a couple of them to make an appearance here this month!
DeleteThose are great ideas re: Chima figures - I do wish some of them were available in smaller/more affordable sets. I want a Rhino to make a Rocksteady minifigure!
I did see one $4 polybag at Target, it was a wolf guy. I try and nab any Target LEGO polybag that contain minifigures. They stock them in the check stands usually.
DeleteI've seen a couple, but they're never the ones I want (Rhino, Elephant etc.) - but I'm sure they'll all be available someday! It isn't as though I don't have enough to keep me occupied lol!
