  2. Ooh these look fun! I especially like the spacey looking ones in Series 3, they remind me of Airgam's Super Diabolics (series 2).
I had bad luck with Series 1, I need a cheat sheet.

    1. Hahaha, I just read about the Super Diabolics on the Weirdo Toys blog. So awesome!

    2. Yeah I wish I could get my hands on some of those Super Diabiolics.

  3. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the last female in Series 3 is not an alien nor superhero, but a Lady Gaga look-a-like!

And I guess you can consider that first fancy dressed lady to be an American "Southern Belle."

    1. Haha yes! And it looks like he and Darth Faker are the only ones with capes so the squeeze test should reveal him quite easily.

  6. If you have the 2012 catalog, you can see larger versions of the series 3 pictures.
Male: ax knight, tattooed pirate, hockey player, kung Fu guy, Jamaican man (or "mon" should I say), astronaut, elvish warrior (looks like a new mold, as he is shorter than usual), Teen idol style singer, pumpkin head scarecrow creepy cool pitchfork dude, British guard (exact name for them escapes me--bobbies or something like that), race car driver (appears to be to me, with victory champagne), robo alien electro thing (looks cool).
Female: parasol lady (with jewels similar to series 1), surfer girl, Greek/Roman goddess (is my assumption), figure skater, flamenco dancer, lady liberty, ninja spy girl, pregnant woman, what I can only imagine to be another equestrienne, bride. Cake baker, crazy singer (has a microphone, but looks like a villainess)
    Can't wait!

  9. It's now just about the last week of the month of August, and as far as I can tell, the Series 3 figures are only available outside of North America. No reply from an inquiry sent to Playmobil USA two weeks ago...

  10. I lol'ed when you referred to the Jamaican as "tribal drummer" and the pregnant lady as "student"...though, of course, due to the massive amount of pregnant teen girls, it's not an entirely illogical categorization. :P
I love these things. I must have gotten loads of them when I was in Germany. I still haven't found the elusive S2 German girl (ironic, yes?) or ANY from series 3. I have three of the shower lady, though...one of them came with the wrong hair, just to mix it up. XD

  13. I bought the Series 2 - 5157 (boy) the serial number : 04412 0289 001040 5157 01, the figure is Guitar Rock Player (orange porcupine hair style, with a red electrical guitar. The problem that I got the face of this figure is not like the one printed on the Plastic wrap or in the catalogue.. I am wondering how to get a replacement for the wrong head...?

  14. OMG I am dying right now. I have been looking for these all over. I can only find the boy wave at Target, I think it is series 2. I have been unable to find the girl waves anywhere. But I love these pictures! These look like so much fun.
